Why Are Poppy Seeds Legal ? Isnt That Crazy?

Okay pot seeds are illegal but the poppy seed are not .The drug Heroin is made from Poppy plant.That means that any person could literally grow and manufacture a drug worse than coke.I despise coke and heroin I only like pot but I can buy it because its illegal .So why can a person grow poppy plants and not hemp ?

After watching the video( run from the cure) on youtube I hope to one day be able to use Marijuana and also give some away to people that have cancer .So many things can be made with hemp and people with liiving with pain like me could really use it its not like the doctors prescription of prevacid is gonna help me I have no stomach problems .
